Modern Slavery

Introduction

This Statement is made by Quantum Six Consulting on behalf of its UK-based company and any UK-based subsidiaries which may be established from time to time, in order to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

This Statement sets out the steps Quantum Six Consulting has taken to prevent Slavery and Human Trafficking (as defined in the Act) from taking place in the company’s supply chains or in any part of its business. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the company’s Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the current financial year. It will be reviewed annually.

The Board acknowledges that all organisations, regardless of size or perceived risk profile, may encounter modern slavery risks, and commits to continuous improvement and enhanced transparency in line with the updated 2025 UK Government statutory guidance on supply chain transparency.

The business puts a strong emphasis on working to the highest professional standards and sets the same criteria with all parties with whom the business engages.

Our policy on Slavery and Human Trafficking

Quantum Six Consulting seeks to detect and to prevent slavery or human trafficking, as defined in the Modern Slavery Act 2015, from occurring in its supply chains or in any part of its business. The company’s business principles and ethics statement reflect its commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships. The company aims to implement and enforce effective and proportionate systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not accepted anywhere in its supply chains.

Quantum Six Consulting does not accept any breach of human rights, including slavery and human trafficking. The Code of Conduct is board-approved, and this statement is aligned with the principles set out in the code.

Our policies have been updated to align with the UK Government’s 2025 statutory guidance, including clearer escalation channels, supplier engagement protocols, and documented remediation steps where modern slavery risks are identified.

As a business, the company will raise awareness with its employees to be alert to the risk, however remote, that it might become party to either slavery or human trafficking during the course of its business, and in the wider supply chain. If employees report concerns to the management team, they will be evaluated and, where necessary, acted upon appropriately.

We have formalised our internal reporting mechanisms, including alignment with our whistleblowing policy, to ensure concerns can be raised safely and anonymously.

Our Approach

Considering the company’s Supply Chains:

  • When considering supply chains, Quantum Six Consulting will focus on those organisations that are paid for the provision of goods and services.
  • The company intends to amend its outsourcing policy to recognise the need for an assessment of the risk of exposure to possible slavery or human trafficking and will require commentary on how this risk is mitigated as part of the due diligence process prior to approval of any material service provider.
  • The company is considering the need to perform due diligence on its business services suppliers (computer supplies, travel agents, etc.). If this is done, the company will focus its assessment on those organisations deemed material suppliers and will consider if they are exposed to a potential risk.
  • As part of the supply chain assessment, undertaken to identify and mitigate risk –
    • Quantum Six Consulting will review its list of suppliers and assess the risk they pose to the company’s business.
    • The company will review its list of Cover holders and risk assess them by country, focusing on those operating in countries where slavery or trafficking is seen as a significant risk and understand whether there is a potential for exposure.
    • The company will perform a similar review of its list of outsourced providers.
    • In line with updated guidance, we recognise that ‘no identified risk’ may indicate insufficient due diligence rather than absence of exposure; therefore we will transparently report identified risks and the actions taken in response.

Training:

To promote an understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in the company’s supply chains, and in its business, Quantum Six Consulting will provide training & awareness information to its employees. The same will be provided to new recruits during their induction period.

Measuring our effectiveness in combatting slavery and human trafficking

Quantum Six Consulting intend to use the following key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective the company has been in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of its business or supply chains:

  • Statement to be approved by the Board annually and be available on the company’s website.
  • Due diligence is performed at the time a contract is established on material outsource providers and suppliers, giving consideration to the risk.
  • Risk assessment is performed annually of high-risk countries with an analysis of any providers in those countries.
  • Delivery of training to all existing employees.
  • Delivery of training to all new employees.
  • Monitoring of the whistleblowing policy, which facilitates anonymous reporting by employees who wish to raise points of concern but do not feel able to do so through line management. This enables escalation of any concerns about slavery and human trafficking.
  • Reporting by exception of any issues of possible slavery and human trafficking to the Board by Quantum Six Consulting’s nominated compliance officer.
  • Annual report by Quantum Six Consulting’s nominated compliance officer to the Board, measuring against the KPIs when seeking the annual reapproval of this Statement.
